Yes, bedding and towels are included with your lodge rental. For additional sets, you can visit the front desk for a small fee.

The kitchens are luxuriously equipped with an induction cooktop (4 burners), a refrigerator/freezer, and a dishwasher.

There is a Braun Nespresso machine suitable for Nespresso capsules (and compatible capsules). You can bring your own capsules or add them when making your reservation.

In addition, a kettle and a toaster are provided.

Pets are welcome at certain lodge for an additional charge The reservation system will calculate the charge, if pets are included in the travelling group.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all lodges. Our connection uses a speedy fiberglass connection to ensure you can surf, work or stream at ease. You can also cast your favourite content to our smart TV's using Google Cast.

The necessary information to connect can be found in your lodge and at the reception desk.

There are several beautiful hiking trails, including:

• The Ravensberg hiking trail with beautiful views.
• The Karstwanderweg, which is suitable for a day trip.
• The Brocken hiking trail, which leads to the highest mountain in the Harz.

Yes, there is free parking at the lodge. If you are coming with several cars, you can park in the parking lot net the park entrance.

All lodges for 6 persons have own parking plots directly at the lodge for 2 cars. 

We also provide 4 charging points for eletrical vehicles, directly opposite the reception. Chargings costs are currently (January 21st 2026) €0.50 / KwH

Yes, the park offers bicycle and mountain bike rentals. You can reserve these at the front desk. Electric bikes are also available.

it is allowed to use a (optional) barbecue on the lodge terrace. Please follow the safety instructions and be considerate of other guests.

The state of Niedersachsen (our home state) observes a few holidays that differ from some other parts of Germany. Please bare in mind, that holidays in Germany are strictly observed and most facilities and shops will be closed.

Yes, in Bad Sachsa there is a solid range of shops available:

Supermarkets

There are four supermarkets in Bad Sachsa:

• Edeka (Mon–Sat 07:00–20:00) – wide range of products, including regional and more premium items
• Rewe (Mon–Sat 07:00–22:00) – also a supermarket with a broad, partly premium assortment
• Penny (Mon–Sat 07:00–21:00) – German discount supermarket from the Rewe Group, with some branded products
• Aldi (Mon–Sat 07:00–20:00) – the classic among German discount supermarkets

On Sundays, supermarkets are almost everywhere closed. A small exception can be found in Bad Lauterberg: the Rewe in our neighboring town is open on Sunday mornings from 08:30 to 11:30.

Retail Shops

Even nicer than the supermarkets are the genuine local retailers. There is still a real bakery, a butcher’s shop, and an independent fruit and vegetable store.

Drugstore

Forgot something or simply want to benefit from the clearly lower prices at a German drugstore? You can do so at Rossmann (Mon–Fri 08:30–19:00, Sat 08:30–15:00) in the center of Bad Sachsa.

Although washing machines are planned to be installed in each of the larger lodges (all 6 person types), we currently do not have washing machines in the lodges. There is a washing machines at the reception, that may be used free of charge.

Final cleaning is included in your booking, but we kindly ask you to leave the lodge tidy, remove garbage and clean the kitchen. If you would like to help us to provide optimal services, we would appreciate if you could strip the bed linnen and place it on the floor.

To cancel or change your reservation, please contact our reservations department. The costs and conditions depend on the time of cancellation and the arrangements booked. Consult the terms and conditions or contact us for more information.

Yes, it is possible to indicate a preference for a specific lodge in the park. This can be useful if, for example, you would like to stay close together, have a free view or prefer to stay by the stream. It is wise to indicate your preference directly when booking or contact the front desk for more information.

In the park, the lodges are positioned so that you can often enjoy a quiet, wooded setting. The lodges are spread out, with plenty of space between them for privacy. The website has a map showing where the various lodges are located.

Yes, you can book a crib and a high chair. This is ideal for families with young children. It is advisable to book these extras in advance to make sure they are available upon arrival.

Yes, two charging stations (with four connection points) are available. The are located opposite the reception and operate at 22 KwH maximum capacity.

The charging costs are currently (January 21st 2026) € 0.50 / KwH

The park currently does not have restaurant. We are anticipating the opening for the beginning of 2027.

In the meantime, Bad Sachsa and other nearby cities have plentiful offerings. Check out our page about restaurants to find our personal favorites!

Winter tires are mandatory during the winter months, especially due to snowy conditions and mountainous roads. Make sure your vehicle is equipped with winter tires before entering the area so you can drive safely.
